Preparing for ATMAE
My paper on an assistive robotic bathing tool was accepted. I'm preparing to present the research at the 2026 ATMAE conference in New Orleans.
About the paper →Software Engineering · Robotics & Automation · Research
I am a Software Engineering student at the University of Central Missouri, specializing in robotics and automation. I enjoy working where software meets hardware, from embedded systems and mechanical design to user interfaces, and I'm especially interested in how these areas come together to build intelligent systems. Much of my current work explores how robots can understand human needs and provide safe, useful assistance, with the goal of developing adaptive robotic systems that improve accessibility, independence, and everyday life.
What I'm curious about
Assistive Technology and Accessible Design. I'm interested in developing human-centered technologies that reduce barriers in daily living and help people with disabilities live more independently.
Assistive Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction. I want to develop intelligent robots that respond to human intent and provide safe, adaptive physical assistance through compliant control, soft robotics, and force sensing.
Sensory Augmentation and Spatial Interaction. I'm interested in using spatial computing, natural-language processing, and computer vision to augment human perception and make the physical world more accessible, from helping visually impaired people navigate their surroundings to enabling more intuitive interactions with assistive technologies.
